After the launch of a retail search tool in February, Cdiscount Advertising is enhancing its retail media platform CARS (Cdiscount Advertising Retail Solution) with a new tool developed in-house to activate display (DCO possible) and video formats on Cdiscount inventory and in open web with targeting on exclusive data.
This proprietary technology solution is designed to support the growth of the retail media market (+30.8% of advertising investments on retail websites and apps in France in 2019*) and enrich the retail media activation offer on Cdiscount.
Available in self-service, this new advertising activation tool allows advertisers and their agencies to access Cdiscount's exclusive inventories and to activate the data of France'sleading e-retailer throughout the conversion tunnel in order to communicate with interested prospects, generate purchase intentions and develop sales.
With more than 400 combinable and activable data segments (socio-demographic, intentional, transactional and persona), CARS Display allows to target clearly identified prospects or customers and to redirect them to the brand's website or directly to Cdiscount's product sheets with real-time analysis of sales performance (ROAS: Return On Advertising Spend).
Built in-house by a team of developers in close connection with the business needs and a team of customer partners, this tool relies on two technological partners: AppNexus by Xandr (purchasing) and Mediarithmics (data processing). It is intended to be agnostic and will soon welcome other retail players.
